Stats: strength, agility, speed and endurance
Four numbers define every fighter. Knowing what each one buys helps you read a rival's card and choose your next upgrade.
The four stats

Strength STR
Adds to the damage of every hit.

Agility AGI
Helps you dodge, block and counter, and beats the opponent's agility.

Speed SPD
Decides how often you act and how likely you are to chain combos.

Endurance END
Your health: the more endurance, the longer you stay standing.
Armour, critical chance, accuracy, disarm chance and pet boosts do not come from stats. They come from your weapons and skills.
Health
A fighter's maximum health is 50 + 6 × endurance + 2 × level. Endurance is the only stat that gives health, which is why a pure-endurance build can feel safe but slow to win.
How stats grow
- At creation every stat starts at 2, plus the fighter type's starting bonus and 12 extra points spread by the type's weights.
- Each level-up offers +3 to a random stat as one of its options. When your weapon or skill slots are full, an offer of that kind turns into +3 to a stat instead. See progression.
- Skills such as Iron Knuckles, Mountain Body, Thick Hide or Quick Feet add stat points directly.
Reading a rival's card
Before each fight you only see the rival's race, level and four stats. A few rules of thumb:
- A high agility rival will be hard to hit, but your own agility narrows the gap.
- A high speed rival acts more often and chains combos.
- A high strength rival hits hard, especially with a heavy weapon.
- A high endurance rival will last longer, so the fight takes more actions.
Which stat is best?
Balance tests show that no single stat path dominates: strength-first, agility-first and speed-first builds all land close to a 50% win rate at high levels, while endurance-first is slightly behind because health is the only thing it buys. Mix stats with perks that fit your fighter type; see the fighters for each type's strengths.
